Yesterday there appeared to be some serious gender confusion at The Washington Post. The WP’s free daily newspaper, Express, made an unfortunate error on social media. Apparently no one on their staff knows the difference between the symbol for male and the symbol for female. (more…)

Now living in Los Angeles, West African born and raised Deddeh Howard is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. An admitted fashion junkie, she was always bothered by the lack of black women modeling in ads for such brands as Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Guess.
