2024 National Gingerbread Competition

It’s nice to see the 2024 National Gingerbread competition has returned. Following Hurricane Helene, the 32nd Annual National Gingerbread House Competition was cancelled. But the Omni Grove Park Inn remains committed to keeping the spirit of the competition alive during Asheville’s recovery period and has returned with their 33rd competition.

This year, over 40 competitors brought their gingerbread creations for visitors and locals to view at the resort and local businesses. The artistic edible creations are now on display through Sunday, January 5.

This season the hotel shared “The 12 Days of Gingerbread” by presenting all of this year’s Gingerbread creations on the hotel’s Facebook (@omnigroveparkinn) and Instagram (@omnigrovepark) channels from December 1 – 12, 2024 to spark Ginger-love for all.

We have chosen to share 15 of our personal favorites from this year’s 2024 National Gingerbread Competition with you, in no particular order.
