The surfboard tree at Palm Beach’s Royal Poinciana Plaza is a beloved holiday tradition. Each year, a creative designer or artist puts their unique spin on the surfboard centerpiece of the plaza’s holiday celebrations. Last year it was men’s fashion designer Thom Browne and this year it’s high-end publisher of art and travel books, Assouline.
The Assouline Surfboard Christmas Tree for Poinciana Plaza
Each year surfboards make up the body of the tree at the Palm Beach shopping plaza, but they are decorated in the inimitable style of the chosen creative guest. The Assouline Surfboard Christmas tree does not disappoint with its colorful graphics taken directly from bookcover designs of their own travel series.
The 2024 tree was created in partnership with publisher Assouline and celebrates the art of travel, the spirit of adventure, and 30 years of breathtakingly beautiful publications from the beloved bookmaker.
The tree’s bold graphics pay homage to Assouline’s iconic Travel Series, and remind us that a fabulous trip is only a page away.
As always there was live music, crafts for kids, food and drink and of course, Santa.
The globetrotting tree celebrates the art of travel.
