Designed in two phases by Bangkok-based design and architecture practice Onion, the hotel has a total of 12 possible accommodations; 10 private villas, each with its own pool, rooftop seating and 2 deluxe rooms.
On the premises there’s an open-air hilltop restaurant overlooking the swimming pool and khao yai countryside that features a variety of delectable western dishes and a diverse selection of traditional Thai food favourites.
And a main oval-shaped pool and another long rectangular infinity pool with outdoor seating areas for the guests:
The villas are stunning and relaxing with their cream colored furnishings and curved walls and doorways. The round soaking tubs and wood furnishings in organic shapes have an earthy and Asian feel and each is surrounded by lush greenery with breathtaking views.
The most luxurious of the accommodations is the three bedroom Sala Signature Villa One. Perched on the northern tip of the resort, the 1192 sqm sala signature villa one offers the ultimate hilltop retreat with sweeping views of Khao Yai’s natural beauty.
Accommodating up to 6 people in three separate bedrooms, the villa is tastefully designed with a private BBQ area and extensive outdoor areas including an infinity rooftop swimming pool with a 360° view across the Khao Yai mountain range, ensuring that your family and friends enjoy an immersive nature-inspired experience.
It features open air dining and seating as well.
Each of the other 10 villas have one bedroom. All the villas have king-sized beds, air conditioning and rooftop seating. A few examples are shown below.
The two available smaller rooms both have full baths, king beds and A/C. One has a balcony, the other does not.

About the Architects:
Onion is a Bangkok-based design practice founded in 2007 by Siriyot Chaiamnuay and Arisara Chaktranon. The two designers carry out a continuous exploration aimed at different needs for contemporary life styles. Onion brings the local craftsmen to explore the new techniques of using local materials. Together, they constantly push the boundaries of spatial designs in order to form a unified approach to retail and living experiences.
