Every once in awhile the synthesis of beauty, talent and craft come together for a visual feast. Such is the case in this fashion editorial for V Magazine starring a fresh-faced model, donning artisanal couture, imaginatively styled and captured by a talented photographer.
Nick Knight and Katy England V Magazine Editorial
Photographer Nick Knight, one of my absolute favorites, teamed up with stylist Katy England for a fabulous Spring Couture editorial in V Magazine starring model Sara Grace Wallerstedt clad in wild textural and colorful creations.
Model of the moment, Sara Grace Wallerstedt, is wrapped in a feast of textures by the likes of Dior, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Chanel, Gaultier, Elie Saab and Maison Margiela.
The designer pieces become wearable art when paired with the custom crochet work of Cecily Cracroft-Eley, and in once spectacular case, the tulle art of Benjamin Shine from his collaboration with John Galliano for the 2017 SS Artisanal Collection from Maison Margiela.
