Nixxi Rose, fan of all things goulish, goth and gory, creates wild custom shoes in addition to her accessories, cosmetics and jewelry. Lately, the multi-talented 23 year old designer from the South of England has had her hands full cranking out high heels inspired by HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Initially created as a one-off art piece the high heeled pumps, which would kick some serious Cersei Lannister ass, are a wearable version of the famous Iron Throne for which the Houses are battling. (The Iron Throne itself has become such a popular icon, you can buy miniature replicas of those ranging from a Miniature Iron Throne Replica for $60 to a Miniature Bronze cast Replica for $2000 as shown below)
When first created, the iron throne high heels were featured on almost every geek and pop culture site imaginable. At that time, Nixxi was not mass producing them for fear of their fragility. Now, due to pressure from high-heel-wearing Game of Thrones fans, the shoes are available to order from Nixxi Rose. She’s had several orders (including some for cast-members) and can hardly keep them in stock.
Kerrie Ingram, who plays Princess Shireen Baratheon on the show, is shown below wearing a pair of Nixxi Rose’s Iron Throne Shoes and seated on a replica Iron Throne made by Wales prop maker Victoria Mclean:
The Iron Shoes are available in the following sizes:
• UK=3 / US=5.5 / EU=35.5 / AUS=4
• UK=4 / US=6.5 / EU=37 / AUS=5
• UK=5 / US=7.5 / EU=38 / AUS=6
• UK=6 / US=8.5 / EU=39 / AUS=7
• UK=7 / US=9.5 / EU=41 / AUS=8
• UK=8 / US=10.5 / EU= 43 / AUS=9
For $170 USD, you can get yourself a pair through her etsy store here

Game of Thrones is an American medieval fantasy television series created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Based on author George R. R. Martin’s bestselling A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels, the first of which is called A Game of Thrones, the television series debuted in the U.S. on April 17, 2011. Set in the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, where “summers span decades and winters can last a lifetime,” Game of Thrones chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among the kingdom’s noble families for control of the Iron Throne.
