When it comes to useless luxury items, this has got to be up there with the best of them. Interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard has collaborated with French brand Christofle on a pair of regal headwear.
Martyn Bullard Christofle Crowns
The two opulent Martyn Bullard Crowns are part of Christofle’s “Folies” collection, a series of rare pieces signed by internationally renowned designers which debuted at this year’s Maison et Objet.
The smaller sterling-silver versions are made in a limited edition of 20 and retail for $10,000. A silver-plated version with gold accents is available for $3,600.

For the pair of Silver Kingdom designs, Bullard created a large sterling-silver crown accented with black onyx and made in a limited edition of 20. The smaller sized silver-plated version has gold accents.

Martyn Bullard is an award-winning Los Angeles based British interior designer who has been named one of the world’s top 100 interior designers by Architectural Digest, featured permanently in Elle Décor’s A-List, named one of the top 25 designers by Hollywood Reporter, and part of the Luxe Interiors + Design Gold List 2012.
He has also appeared on Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorators and his newest television show, Hollywood Me (which airs in the UK), has recently won the National Reality TV Awards for Best Self-Improvement/ Makeover Show.
