A little Brutalist, a lot Architectural and undeniably beautiful, the Utopian stackable concrete planters from James Piatt were inspired by such visionaries as Frank Lloyd Wright, Paul Rudolph, Carlo Scarpa, aiming to showcase the intrinsic beauty and versatility of concrete as a material. And they succeed whether as a single piece or as multiples.
Architectural Stackable Concrete Planters
The Utopia Stackable Planter is the latest piece from James Piatt. Crafted of fiberglass reinforced concrete the intricately designed planter offers a great deal of flexibility in design. When used in a series, these planters open up a world of aesthetic possibilities.
Each planter boasts the capacity to house two 1-gallon plants from your favorite nursery. This system allows you to effortlessly create a living wall, navigate corners with ease, or stack vertically to form striking columns. Of course, they can also stand alone as stunning individual pieces. While the potential for stacking is boundless, we recommend not exceeding four tiers without securely linking them with cables through the designated drain holes.
Each planter stands on four sturdy legs and features two drainage holes for optimal plant health.
For those looking to incorporate our planters as end tables, we offer two optional concrete inserts for an additional $20 each. When installed, they create a convenient tabletop surface within the planter itself. Please note that due to the casting process, slight cosmetic variations may occur, adding to the unique character of each piece.
The planters are meticulously designed by a team of artisans, and they can assist you in bringing your project to life.
