The use of low sub-perceptual doses of psychedelics, aka microdosing*, has gained popularity in recent years, spurring microdosing dinner parties and get-togethers. Although when microdosing, you don’t feel the psychedelic effects one does when taking a full dose of ‘shrooms or dropping acid, we came across some dinnerware that will make you think you are: Seletti Classics on Acid.
Classic Dinnerware Distorted
Seletti Classics on Acid, another of the brand’s collaborations with Diesel Living, comprises classically patterned blue and white porcelain dinnerware that appear to have melted or had their matter altered in some way.
Blue Willow, Majolica, Delft, Chinoiserie, Japonesque, Maastricht, Hollandia, Imari Dragon, Irish, Landscape, and other traditional styles, while still perfectly functional, have been altered in both shape and pattern as though you’re viewing them while under the influence of a mind-altering substance.
Soup plates, salad bowls, dessert plates and dishes; each is different. Below are several of our favorites.
A set table that combines all the styles, or several plates of the same style, would certainly make for an Instagram-worthy event.
While Amazon has better prices than buying direct from Seletti they don’t have the entire collection available.

*Microdosing, according to experts, is defined as taking anywhere from 5 to 10 percent of a full dose of a psychedelic medicine such as magic mushrooms or LSD. A full dose of magic mushrooms that provides a psychedelic trip — often described as a dream state that frees people from ruminations, concerns, obsessions or fixations — ranges from 2 to 6 grams. A microdose could be 100 milligrams, taken every 48 to 72 hours, depending on the protocol. Most people take their microdose in capsule form.
