In keeping with the emerging consumer interest and demand for products with added societal value, Altia Sweden recognized the growing support for LGBT rights within Nordic societies and used this key consumer insight to launch True Colours Cava, a sparkling wine, to the European market last year. Now for PRIDE month, they’ve brought True Colours Cava Brut Sparkling Wine to the U.S. Market in full and split size bottles. With every bottle sold here in the U.S., Highland Imports makes a donation to GLAAD.

True Colours Cava Brut Sparkling Wine

True Colours Cava was created in support of the social movements within the European markets for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) communities. For every bottle of True Colours sold, Altia Sweden gave five Swedish kronor to the private, voluntary foundation Regnbågsfonden, which works with LGBT issues worldwide.

When Highland Imports heard this message the decision was easy to bring True Colours Cava to the U.S. market. With every bottle sold in the U.S., Highland Imports makes a donation to GLAAD.

Cava True Colors Brut

With notes of bright lemon and fresh pastries, this Spanish Cava has a creamy, lingering finish. A sparkly choice for light fare, its fine bubbles and minerality pairs well with lean fish, shellfish and cured meat. Made in Spain with Chardonnay, Macebo, Xarel-lo and Parellada grapes.
