Each new year, publications take a look back at the Movie Posters from the previous year and create a “Best of” list. And there are several legit ones out there. But we decided to dig a little deeper and bring you some of the more obscure, however equally beautifully designed, movie posters from 2022.

Best Designed Movie Posters 2022

This year, there are several of the same on many people’s lists – and rightly so. They are visually compelling, nicely composed and either tease or communicate effectively. These include such posters for the movies Everything Everywhere All At Once, Blonde, Babylon, Men, Prey, She Said, Vengeance, Wakanda Forever, Tar and Don’t Worry Darling.

On the other hand, we’ve opted to bring attention to fourteen of what we felt were the best-designed posters that may not be as popular but are also worthy of praise, if not more so, in terms of their typography, composition, color palette and style.

The following posters were designed by either talented firms or individuals. Creative studios P+A (Percival and Associates) and AV/PRINT deserve shoutouts for having multiple choices among our picks.

And while most people chose to honor the wonderful, colorful illustrated poster for Everything Everywhere All At Once, we chose to single out the teaser poster for the movie with its multiple sized Googly Eyes!
