Sadly, much of the category has turned from hip and edgy to sappy, inspirational, meditative, calming versions of coloring for adults. Now sold as ‘art therapy’ and ways to de-stress, I have avoided those versions entirely. Instead, I have scoured the not yet published and independently produced and managed to find the newest, design-y, geeky, edgy and twisted ones for this fifth installment of The Coolest Coloring Books For Grown-Ups.
