Forget Happy. Burger King Launches Real Meal Moods.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and in a no-so-subtle poke at McDonald’s Happy Meals, Burger King has decided to go for ‘truth in advertising’ with their new line of boxed meals and accompanying television commercial. The fast food burger franchise has taken a risk and introduced the Pissed Meal, the Blue Meal, the Salty Meal, the YAAAS Meal and the DGAF Meal for a limited time. (more…)

Game of Thrones Opening Now Recreated With Oreo Cookies!

Years ago we were so impressed with the opening title sequence of HBO’s Game of Thrones, we wrote an in-depth article about how it was done. Then we were wowed by the opening when it was recreated in paper by Moleskine here and again as if it had been reimagined by designer Saul Bass here and now… now it’s been recreated with just under 3,000 Oreo Cookies! The 10 Weirdest Flavored Candy Canes

The traditional Candy Cane or Peppermint Stick has long been a treat associated with the Holiday Season. Folklore says that in 1670, a choirmaster at Germany’s Cologne cathedral bent the ends of some sugar sticks to represent shepherds’ crooks, and distributed them to youngsters. Thus the familiar shape. Its earliest known association with Christmas was in 1874, and by 1882 canes were being hung on Christmas trees. (more…)
