For the past few years I have been sharing with you classic, modern, contemporary and pop culture versions of Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous Last Supper painting.
Thus far I have shared over 60 versions of the painting with you. Starting with a good, educational look at the original and including versions by Warhol, Damien Hirst, David LaChapelle, Annie Leibovitz and yes, even Dark Vomit. The post also featured Last Supper stills from many well-known TV shows over the years, from MASH to LOST.
More Last Suppers
This year, I’m sharing with you some new ones by lesser known artists who have posted their work on such sites as Red Bubble, Etsy and deviantART. Once again, the interpretations of the religious painting encompass all mediums and range from photography to oil paintings, illustrations to computer generated art. I have chosen my personal favorites from the many versions that are out there.
