“This book is not just for Christmas. We wanted to take a popular subject and treat it with the a level of brevity whilst retaining inate (sic) charm. It was great fun prompted by my love of both the subject and the medium,” says Angus Hyland.

The Book of the Dog is part of Hyland’s continued exploration of Le Style Anglais – a tone that is informative and humorous, stuffed with history and a uniquely British irony – which began with his booklet From England With Love for Mulberry.
