These beautiful contemporary wall mounted cuckoo clocks are custom made by hand in Hackney Wick, East London by artist and craftsman Pedro Mealha.
Pedro Mealha Cuckoo Clocks
The majority of these battery operated clocks are crafted of Birch plywood from responsibly sourced forests (FSC approved) and then stained, treated with shellac and waxed to a beautiful shine. Some are mixed with acrylic for an even more modern look.
The quartz mechanism has a moving pendulum and bird which is programmed to chirp between 6am and 10pm. The little birds are mechanized, move their beaks and wings when cooing and the volume is fully adjustable. Most feature an automated shut off using a light sensor, so the little birds won’t drive you nuts in the middle of the night.
His contemporary looking cuckoo clocks come in many styles and can be customized to your liking. With or without pendulums, numbers or color accents.
Previous buyers, of which there are at least 480, are thrilled with his clocks as one can tell from reading the feedback he has received in his etsy store.
Just take a look at these.
