The first official partnership for both brands, Nike has teamed up with Tiffany & Co. in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Nike’s flagship sneaker, the Air Force 1, to launch a limited edition capsule collection.

The Nike x Tiffany Collection

Apt to be the most coveted of the bunch are the collaborative sneakers, the Air Force 1 1837 in black suede and Tiffany Blue (1837 is the date Tiffany was founded).

The Nike X Tiffany collection doesn’t only include the $400 Black Suede Air Force 1s with Tiffany Blue swoosh, laces and sterling silver accents, but a limited collection of other objects.

An extra pair of blue laces with sterling silver dubrae (the ornamental tabs), a sterling silver shoe horn, a sterling silver whistle and a sterling silver toothbrush (I don’t really get this one) are also included in the collection, each bearing the both brand’s hallmarks. A sterling silver shoe brush is said to be included, however, we haven’t yet seen an image of that.

The line, which will be priced from $250 to $475, will be launching on Tiffany.com in the United States, as well as at the two Tiffany & Co. New York City locations on March 7th.

“Each design is as much a celebration of the Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837 as it is a display of the House’s unparalleled savoir faire and craftsmanship,” Tiffany & Co. and Nike said in a joint media release.

The collection launches online and in stores on March 7th.
