Gucci and SuperRare NFT Art Have Made Their Second Drop

NFT art and digital art auctions continue to gain popularity despite the millions who still have trouble wrapping their heads around the concept. Now status brand Gucci has entered the fray, teaming up with NFT auction site SuperRare to present The Next 100 Years of Gucci, a series of works by invited artists presented and auctioned in three drops.

The Vault Art Space is an online gallery of Gucci and SuperRare NFT Art by 29 different forward-thinking artists. Invited to depict what the future of the brand might hold, based on Gucci’s heritage, the various artists have created numerous pieces for auction.

• VEXX – ARTIST, BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

A self-taught creative working out of Belgium, VEXX started his signature doodle style at 16 years old. Since then, he has continued drawing hypnotically colorful works, while also sharing his creativity on his YouTube channel.

Tyler Spangler’s work is all about the mashup of context and perception, with a massive injection of color and inspiration from surf culture. He graduated with a degree in psychology, dropped out of Art Center College of Design, and ran an illegal punk venue until it got shut down.

By inviting 29 handpicked artists to reflect upon the House’s century of heritage and envision what comes next. Filtered through multifaceted perspectives of forward-looking creators, the codes of Gucci’s past and present become suggestions of its future. Presented and auctioned off in three drops, each work from ‘The Next 100 Years of Gucci’ is a collectible fragment of Alessandro Michele’s kaleidoscopic narrative for the House.

Gucci 2050 – The future of Digital Gucci Fashion by Aliendope

Alex a.k.a Aliendope is a 3D artist who oscillates between surrealism and abstraction in his compositions. Throughout his work, he deconstructs people to make portraits of different individuals, often angry, as a reflection on how hard it is to stay calm nowadays.
