The gals behind Storybook Cosmetics are identical triplets Erin, Mandy and Missy Maynard from Omaha, Nebraska. And yes, they are a “thing.” And have been for over a decade. The Maynard Triplets used to sing and even appeared in a pilot for a 2006 reality show based upon them. They each have large followings on social media and are ogled plenty by those who have a hankering for sexy triplets.
Far from being strangers to e-commerce and social media, the three beautiful girls each have large followings on Instagram and run various online retail stores.
Now, Erin runs The Geeky Cauldron, a site selling ‘fandom’ jewelry (that mean unofficial) with pieces inspired by cult favorites, ranging from Doctor Who to ABC’s Once Upon a Time. Crafty sister Missy runs The Sorcerer’s Phone which sells handmade switchplates, phone covers and more as well as Fandom Pins, a monthly subscription box of mashup fandom pins. The popular trio have now merged their frenzy for fandom; a love of all things sparkly, magical and mystical, and makeup to create Storybook Cosmetics. The brand’s first product, which has received much buzz, launched yesterday for pre-order.
