World Famous Designers Make Christmas Cakes for Haagen Dazs.

Move over Gingerbread, here’s another Christmas confection to impress. Not many in the U.S. know that ice cream brand Häagen Dazs commissioned well-known interior, industrial and traditional designers, one for each eleven years from 2008-2019, to create uniquely beautiful and delicious Christmas ice cream cakes for the annual Häagen-Dazs Ice Show in France and for sale in France, Belgium, Amsterdam, London and Japan at the holidays. St. Pancras Is Pretty in Pink With The 2020 Tree of Hope.

The 2020 Christmas Tree at London’s St. Pancras International station is pretty in pink and carries a message of positivity. The 34ft tall “Tree of Hope” was designed in partnership with café chain EL&N and it features 1,200 meters of ribbon printed with quotes of love, hope and empathy from NHS staff and key workers. Meet The Tiny Owl Found In The Rockefeller Christmas Tree

We’re all in need of some Christmas cheer and this year it appears to have come in the form of an Owl in a Spruce rather than a Partridge in a Pear tree. This tiny Saw-whet owl, one of the smallest species of owl in the Northwest, hitched a ride on this year’s Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and was discovered dehydrated and hungry among the trees giant branches by one the tree’s transport workers. It’s beginning to look a lot like a Covid Christmas. With US cases rising dramatically in a third wave, we aren’t yet able to gather round the yule log or sing Christmas carols, for fear of breathing on one another.
