Inside Walled Off: 60 Photos of Banksy’s New Palestine Art Hotel

In stark contrast to yesterday’s hotel post, Banksy has opened a hotel of his own in Palestine and no, it’s not a joke. Walled Off is a legit art hotel complete with fully functioning ensuite facilities; artist-decorated rooms, a palatial presidential suite, scary budget rooms that look like barracks, an independently operated gallery and a museum. Operated by the local community, its meant to offer a warm welcome to everyone from all sides of the conflict and across the world. (more…)

France’s Molitor Swimming Baths Re-Open With New Rooms, Restaurant, Pools, Spa and Club.

For 60 years the Molitor were the most popular swimming baths in Paris. In 1989, the Molitor closed and was declared a historical monument. Over time the dilapidated building became a favorite haunt of graffiti artists and a hang-out for the Paris Underground. Hoping to once again become an inspirational place for the artistic and cultural community, the Molitor has re-opened with a beautiful overhaul. (more…)
