You may recall the awesome Treehouse Brewery or the World’s Coolest Man Cave Treehouse we shared with you a ways back. Yet another one by the same builders is this three level Frank Lloyd Wright-Inspired Treehouse among the oak trees in Cadiz, Kentucky.
Frank Lloyd Wright-Inspired Treehouse
Located on Lake Barkley the 650 square foot treehouse was built by Pete Nelson and his crew from Nelson Treehouse of Treehouse Masters on Animal Planet for Ron and Victoria Sampson.
The all-season treehouse translates the great American architect’s prairie style aesthetic into a tranquil space hovering 15 feet above ground.
The largest square foot treehouse built by Nelson to date, it’s supported by both a steel frame and the surrounding oak and beech trees.
The three level treehouse has cantilevered roofs that double as sun decks:
A full kitchen:
Tiled bathroom with Travertine sink and shower:
Master Bedroom:
Sleeping loft:
Living room:
And lounge:
The treehouse’s interior is filled with FLW-like decor.
(The Taliesin Table Lamp shown below is available here) and was decorated by Wright-expert and NYC Design instructor Tory Jones.
Treehouse Masters just began it’s tenth season on Animal Planet.
