Kartell’s Bourgie Lamp Reimagined by 14 Designers for the 10th Anniversary.

It’s been ten years since Kartell introduced Ferruccio Laviani’s Bourgie lamp to their collection. To celebrate the tenth anniversary, Kartell dreamt up a unique initiative for the January edition of Maison&Objet in Paris to celebrate the special occasion and invited 14 designers to re-imagine the now classic table lamp. The Conran Shop is pleased to announce RED, a special exhibition to mark 25 years at the Michelin Building during the London Design Festival 2012. Philippe Starck for Baccarat. Zenith Chandelier Evolves To Marie Coquine.

Baccarat’s classic 12 light Zenith Chandelier gets a modern makeover by Philippe Starck as both a floor lamp and suspended lamp. Named The Marie Coquine, the 12 light chandelier and floor lamp take the classic crystal design and add some whimsy with an umbrella like shade and sandbag-like weighted counterbalance. (more…)
