Murals and Public Portraits by street artist Hendrik Beikirch. Artist Hendrik Beikrich (aka ecb) is a portrait painter and a muralist 
who first worked as freelance artist in Koblenz, Germany. From 1996 through 2000 he studied art education at university of Koblenz-Landau. It was 
in 1989 that he created his first painting using a spray can

Fin Bec Winery Invites 8 Artists To Paint Special Labels

 

On a beautiful sunny day in Sion, the wine region of southern Switzerland, eight graffiti and street artists from all over the world gathered for a fun project. Each artist was given a “canvas” made up of 84 wooden wine cases and asked to create an artful interpretation of any wine out of the myFINBEC collection. The final images produced by each of the eight artists are featured on the label of the bottles of their choosing which are sold by the half-case. (more…)

Global Inheritance invited 100+ artists to decorate recycling bins for their for The Coachella Music & Arts Festival 2012. The entire collection was exhibited at the Lab Art Gallery in Los Angeles prior to being rolled out at the festival. After the festivals, these redesigned recycling bins will be donated to schools in Southern California. (more…)

Artist Kim Cogan Captures The Quiet Side Of City Life With A Paintbrush.

Artist Kim Cogan is one of my favorite fine artists. His painterly depictions of Brooklyn, San Francisco and other urban centers capture the grit of city life with an elegance and loneliness that stirs the soul. The large scale oil paintings feature rooftops, intersections, subways and other elements of the city, but usually devoid of people. When rendering figures, they are not engaged with others, but instead in the acts of the ordinary (smoking, walking, biking) making the viewer feel like a voyeur in these intimate moments of the mundane.
