Marble Circles was created by designer Patricia Urquiola as part of Italian company Budri’s Nat/f/Use collection. The unusual area rug /carpet consists of inlaid and open work lace patterns held together by a fluorescent yellow rope. Together they create an area rug reminiscent of stepping stones. (more…)

When I first learned of Maude Decor Rugs and Art by Patricia Baun (shown above), she simply had fabulous hand-painted canvas rugs which were first introduced in 2002. Those alone were worth a blog post. However, now the range has greatly expanded to include silk, flax and wool rugs, art prints, wall hangings and more– all graphic and colorful and unique.
