Cartier d’Art Watches

Cartier introduced two new watches to their exclusive Cartier d’Art Collection this year. A Bengal Tiger structured in white gold – a 500 piece mosaic of white Cachalong opal tiles on a background of Lapis Lazuli and  Blue Agate. The other features relief of a Falcon embellished in gold leaf carved directly onto a mother-of-pearl face. Both have an inset tourbillons. The two styles come in various degrees of diamond embellishment as you will see.

The “Cartier d’Art” collection showcases the rare jewelry-making techniques of enameling, engraving, and wood and mother-of-pearl marquetry. The spectacular dials and extravagant curves of “Cartier d’Art” timepieces cultivate rare talents and a unique sense of inspiration. These are much rarer watches than the Cartier watches you see on every other wrist on fashionable areas. And since you don’t often see them, I wanted to give you a good look. Of course there are no prices listed because you know what they say- if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.
