Best Dressed, Worst Dressed and other Oscar Eye Candy.

This stunning photo of Selma Blair, diagnosed with MS last October, by Mark Seliger at the Vanity Fair after party, is our favorite of the night.

Last night was the 91st Academy Awards. Although almost now always referred to as The Oscars, the TV broadcast, which was host-less, held few surprises except for Olivia Colman taking home the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal as Queen Anne in The Favourite (Glenn Close was expected to win). While you can find the list of winners here, we always like to point out the fashions. And last night plenty bright and colorful ensembles graced the Red Carpet.  So here’s a round up of our picks for most outrageous, best and worst dressed of the night.

Best Dressed, Worst Dressed and other Oscar Eye Candy

But first, for those who did not watch last night’s telecast, here are Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga performing the Oscar-Winning song Shallow from ‘A Star Is Born’:

Most Outrageous (in a good way)
Shangela and Jennifer Lewis absolutely slayed it on the red carpet:

Christian Siriano’s Tuxedo Gown for Billy Porter (star of FX’s Pose and American Horror Story), a tribute to ballroom great Hecor Xtravaganza, had everyone abuzz:

Then there was lots of Pretty in Pink – and some Not So Pretty:
While Marie Kondo, Gemma Chan and Angela Bassett looked terrific… Kacey Musgraves, Linda Cardellini and Maya Rudolph failed miserably in dresses that wore them.

Silver Disco Balls:
Jennifer Lopez, Brie Larson, Molly Sims Mindy Kaling and America Ferrara opted for highly reflective silver gowns.

Interesting Color:
Mauve, or a silvery lavender, was a popular color and worn by Awkwafina, Michelle Yeoh and Emilia Clarke to name a few.

Jason Momoa’s suit and Lisa Bonet jumped on the Mauve bandwagon as well, although not as in good of taste:

As far as sexiest?
We’ve got to give that to Kendall Jenner at the Vanity Fair after party:

And now for the Best and The Worst Dressed.

The Best:

Bold and beautiful in shades of orange, red and rose, Jennifer Hudson and Helen Mirren were impossible to miss on the Oscars red carpet.

Ashley Graham and Lady Gaga oscars
Ashley Graham and Lady Gaga went for classic formal black gowns and they look gorgeous. In case you were wondering, Ashley’s hips are real, Gaga’s aren’t.

Amy Pohler and Melissa McCarthy went for pants this year on the Oscars red carpet. We like it – not sure about Melissa’s cape but we thought she was soooo good in Can You Ever Forgive Me? that we do.
